I’m Austin Murphy, and I’m the editor behind RestRight Reviews — an independent publication dedicated to honest, research-driven reviews of sleep products available through major retailers like Amazon.

I started this site for a simple reason. I’m a side sleeper with chronic shoulder and wrist discomfort, I run hot at night, and I’ve spent years figuring out which pillows, mattress toppers, and cooling products actually help versus which ones just sound good in marketing copy. My father has lived with serious back problems for years following a car accident, and watching him cycle through wedge pillows, lumbar supports, and adjustable bases taught me how much sleep product marketing oversells and underdelivers.

RestRight Reviews exists to publish the kind of detailed, honest sleep product reviews I wish had been available to me when I was trying to figure out what to buy. The reviews here are written for real people with specific sleep problems, not for affiliate program rankings or manufacturer marketing budgets.

RestRight Reviews is an independent affiliate review and editorial publication. I research products, evaluate specifications, analyze customer feedback, and write detailed buying guides and product comparisons. I am the editor and writer of every review on this site. Articles reflect my research, opinions, and editorial judgment based on available information at the time of publication. Where my personal experience with a product is relevant, I share it. My Editorial Approach

Every review on RestRight Reviews follows the same approach:

Research first. I research products through manufacturer specifications, customer reviews, expert sources, and independent testing data before forming an opinion.
Honest assessment. If a product has weaknesses, I identify them. If a product isn’t a good fit for a specific use case, I say so. I do not soften criticism to protect affiliate commissions.
Specific recommendations. I write reviews for real sleep problems — side sleepers with shoulder pain, hot sleepers, people with back injuries, people on tight budgets — and I tailor recommendations to those specific situations.
Transparent comparisons. When I rank or compare products, I explain what I’m comparing against and why one option may suit a particular reader better than another.
